Trumpedo gets all of his news and information by watching Fox “News” rather than his own intelligence agencies, despite Fox “News” being complete liars. For example, a
Fox News report in September intermingled images of the small nightly protests at an ICE facility in Portland over the summer with video from the much larger 2020 protests. Even better: the video of protests from 2020 were not even established to have taken place in Portland.
As a result of seeing the Fox “News” lies, the president was prompted to say he “didn’t know that was still going on,” and then threatened to send in troops.
The Oregonian newspaper reported on Saturday that the number of arrests outside the ICE building had declined over the past three months. That news seemed to affirm the sense among the demonstrators that the energy surrounding the immigration protests in Portland had been dying out before the news of more federal involvement, Mr. Trump’s announcement, however, spurred around a hundred people to turn out late Saturday and early Sunday to protest.One hundred protestors? "Spurred" on by his announcement? Well, sure, that requires several hundred troops, dontchaknow.
In short, Trumpedo is America's demented Grandpa, not understanding that what he is seeing daily on Fox “News” are lies intended to manipulate him. But unlike our own demented Grandpas, Trumpedo has an entire intelligence service at his command to inform him of the facts and the reality of these situations but chooses to ignore them in favor of Fox “News” lies.
