Arizona has been red for a long time, but we never really toed the line. We don't generally like crazy. Which is why we have two blue senators (McSally ran for both seats at different times, and lost because she's crazy).

There are still a lot of Trumpies, especially in the rural areas. So Gallego vs Lake isn't a slam dunk, but Lake is also crazy. So there's a good chance Gallego will win. He's currently polling (depending on the poll) between 4-7% ahead of Lake.

Biden won the state in 2020. Harris is presently within the error bars of convict Trump, and she just started (and is a non-white woman; which, let's be honest, in the USofA isn't an asset).

We don't like crazy.
