One of my coworkers at the pump seal company went bowling every Thursday night. Friday mornings were predictable. One week, Tom would call in, around 9am, saying he overslept and would be in late. The next Friday, his wife would call, saying he wasn't feeling well and would not be in. The next, it would be back to "gee, I overslept"... wash, rise, repeat. Yeah, we need more "social lubrication" like that, in a pig's eye.
