There was a House race in metro Detroit, that did not receive as much attention as the Senate race. An incumbent, moderate, South Asian, JC, lost to a Bernie endorsed African American. You could probably construct some sort of scenario where African Americans would reject a Bernie endorsed Muslim, in favor of a white woman, but embrace a Bernie endorsed African American, over a South Asian moderate, but I would think that is getting away from the fat part of the bell curve. I do need to wonder how much an implied Obama endorsement matters in the African American community. All the pix Stevens ran in her ads of her with Obama were old. His hair was still black in the pix. He is nearly as grey haired as I am these days.
