It is expensive and like the GOP said - so is all health insurance.
At least ObamaCare gives easy, transparent access to buying insurance. It eliminated pre-existing conditions, limits, and made sure certain coverages were required.
I regret so much that the thinking-section of the Right didn't play a part in this---it could've been much better. Trouble is the HMO companies have a stranglehold on politicians. In terms of owning America's Capitol i'd rank it the following : 1.)Israel. 2.)HMO. 3.)NRA. 4.)AARP. I'd almost say HMO is tied for #1, right down to paying off radio hosts and tv hosts.
I'm still torn.
Ok, i don't want to pay the huge bump should subsidies go away.
BUT I'd rather swallow that pill for a year or two --part of me wants Republicans spanked hard when the premiums blow up in Red and swing states----that is if Democrats stop being Coastal Faculty Lounge Sheeple, and start acting as if they care about american voter opinion.
*sigh* much of ObamaCare was from the Heritage Foundation and Mitt Romney. I wish my side would relook at that and do more than "NO" and more than "let the market handle it"
I feel this village might be worth burning -- in order to save it.
Where my gambit will go too far: IF MAGA is in crisis in 2 years as it was during covid....and IF ACA isn't extended......we might be giving the Presidency to AOC at that moment.
My God.
