oops, he said it out loud:
Trump says a breakdown in peace talks with Iran could mean 'you won't have the Strait open for months'
But he laid bare the downsides of a return to full-scale fighting and what it could mean for the global economy and energy markets.
"If we go and bomb ... they'll have nothing left whatsoever," the president claimed. "But you won't have the Strait [of Hormuz] open for months."https://currently.att.yahoo.com/finance/markets/ar...Some have suggested that the "negotiations" are fake. The real objective is to keep the Strait closed, for as long as possible. The near daily proclamations that "peace is at hand" are only to cover up the scheme to artificially tighten crude supplies, to profit certain, select, entities. The current stalemate is relatively low cost, in USian blood and treasure, so can be maintained as long as the oil interests want to enjoy elevated prices.
