Yes, usually i'm right -
But.....
I always said and sincerely thought that the feared assault on a Constitutional way of life would not come under Trump. I felt the systematic dismantling of some venerable and overall positive institutions that befits a Superpower would never come.
My thought process was not out of support for Trump - i've said he was a scum human even before voting for him.
My reasoning was that he's just saying that stuff to entertain the nut vote, and in a 50-50 country, even the nut votes matter - perhaps more than ever because tie-breakers are needed in this tribal polarized so-called country.
I also thought that the entrenched government was simply too strong, too bulletproof to screw with and furthermore, I thought the entities that truly run america and the world - Goldman Sachs, Energy, S and P 500 Corporations -- would *never* allow that shit to happen.
Well in a rarity, I was wrong.
It is happening full on.
I'm mildly impressed that some people figured out that their control of America was slipping due to demographics, and due to their own inability to hit the books, be qualified, and be economically viable. And - well, as a good sport i gotta tip my hat- they're wresting it back at least for the moment.
The other stuff, be it turning back the clock on science, encouraging dangerous behavior like not vaccinating - that - I am still puzzled. It's either the need to validate one another within a tribe, OR it's part of an anti-American plan and frankly i'm not sure which one it is, or if its both.
Oh well.
Those who oppose all this cannot, or do not want to do much about it.
Well, they post online to each other. Sort of like those they oppose.
At least the tribes have that in common.
