"Heard today - Ezra Klein pod (recommended) - of voters making less than $50k, a majority voted for Trump. They KNEW what they were voting for. Tax cuts for the rich, deportations, tariffs. None of this was a secret.'
Would you be so kind to explain to us how people making 50K benefit from open borders? 4 amazing guys painted my entire house in four days last year, none of them spoke English, they worked a ten-hour day. My landscapers don't speak English, same monthly bill for 20 years. One of my cleaning ladies speaks English. My grandkids all live in upscale neighborhoods in Cali and NEV. I know how I benefit from the cheap labor. IF you make 50 K your kids most likely are attending crowded public schools with limited resources. The teachers are underpaid, overworked, and time and resource constrained. IF you add 2-3 undocumented kids to their classrooms, the other kids have to compete for that teacher's time and attention. I think low-income earners who support open borders are misinformed, and their families are being abused. Low-income voters voting trump was a no brainer. Criminalizing retail theft saves small businesses in low-income areas. What am I missing, thank you.
