After failing to make the promised 90 trade deals in 90 days, Mad King Donald sent out his first trade letters today to the leaders of allies Japan and South Korea, imposing 25% tariffs beginning August 1 on all goods imported from those countries. He also threatened them with additional tariffs should they retaliate:

“If for any reason you decide to raise your Tariffs, then, whatever the number you choose to raise them by will be added onto the 25% that we charge.”

He also said the tariffs may go up or they may go down, and ended the letters with “Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

What a doofus.

The stock market quickly took a nosedive.
