I'd check up on this, but I've followed it over the years and this agrees with what I've been follwing. Homeland security for years said the white extremists were with worst. But no, we have some poll using extreme rhetoric such as "assassination culture" to prop up MAGA beliefs and fan the flames of eve more violence. Anyone reading that pool should question it's validity. But no, someone is running around bellowing - Take a look at the poll!

Right-wing extremism has been responsible for the majority of terrorist attacks and plots in the United States, particularly in recent years, while left-wing extremism accounts for a smaller proportion and has historically been more likely to use violence against government targets such as police and the military.

However, right-wing extremists commit the majority of extremist-related murders, with white supremacists being responsible for a large number of these killings.
Key Trends and Data

Right-Wing Violence:
From 1994 to 2020, right-wing terrorists perpetrated the majority (57%) of all terrorist attacks and plots in the United States.
Right-wing attacks and plots have been the predominant form of terrorism since 2011, with the exception of 2013.
Since 2014, most right-wing attacks have focused on individuals (often targeted for their religion, race, or ethnicity) and religious
institutions.
Right-wing extremists were responsible for all extremist-related murders in 2022.

Left-Wing Violence:

Between 1994 and 2020, left-wing terrorists committed 25% of all terrorist attacks and plots.
Left-wing extremism has not often targeted people with deadly violence since the late 1980s but engages in violence ranging from assaults to
property destruction, such as fire-bombings and arsons.
Left-wing attacks are more likely to target government, military, and police institutions, especially in recent years.

Trends in Mortalities:

The Anti-Defamation League reports that right-wing extremists commit the greatest number of domestic extremist-related murders in most years.
For instance, nearly all extremist-related murders in 2021 were committed by right-wing extremists.

CSIS analyzes trends in domestic terrorism, noting the shift in right-wing attacks from targeting abortion clinics to individuals and religious institutions since 2014.

ADL provides data on extremist-related murders, indicating the predominance of right-wing violence, particularly by white supremacists.
PNAS research suggests that characteristics associated with right-wing ideologies, such as closed-mindedness, may contribute to a greater likelihood of engaging in politically motivated violence compared to left-wing individuals.
