“hey everyone — breaking news here in the House. it was just announced that votes are canceled tomorrow, and they are sending us home even earlier than expected. and there’s really only one explanation for this, and that is that Thomas Massie, the congressman from Kentucky, filed articles of impeachment against Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth — and last night, we took a vote on a war powers resolution, that passed, to end the illegal was in Iran. and we had multiple Republicans join us, because they understand the writing on the wall, that this is an illegal war.
and so there’s really only one explanation for why they would cancel votes tomorrow, and send us him early before the midterms. and that’s because they are afraid that the House of Representatives will vote to impeach Hegseth. and the Speaker, obviously, and obviously the president does not want that. and so instead, they’re just going to send us home.”
