I know he was instrumental in Berkshire buying that German Motorcycle company

"Detlev Louis" is not a motorcycle company. It´s Europe´s largest motorcycle accessories chain (Helmets, clothes, chains, oils, you name it, they have it - if it´s not a motorcycle :)
