The week's question
In March 2025, in the thread "Re: OT, out", Umm asked the members: "Do you think it is because America is made up of magical soil that makes businesses based in America magically profitable?" This week it is put to everyone again. The button below opens the small thread re-asking it - read what others have said so far, then give your own answer as an ordinary reply.

The Trumping Of America Continues:
"Trillion-Dollar Interest Payments Are the New Norm"
"Spending for net interest payments on the public debt surpassed $1 trillion for the first time in FY 2025."
"Interest costs on US public debt to reach more than $2 trillion per year over the next decade."

The explosion of the national debt under Trump's administration is an act of intergenerational theft.
By financing tax cuts with unprecedented debt, Trump has effectively shifted the costs of todays prosperity onto future generations.
His approach demonstrates fiscal recklessness cloaked in populist rhetoric.
Far from "Making America Great", his policies erode our long-term stability, slow economic growth, elevate interest burdens, and reduce future governments’ ability to respond to crises.
In essence, Trump's debt policies betray the principle of responsible governance by prioritizing temporary applause over enduring prosperity.
The exact opposite of MAGA.

And BTW,
Trump continues to break the law everyday...
It has been 314 days since the Epstein Files Transparency Act was signed into law by The U.S. Congress, it mandated the DOJ to release the Epstein Files, within 30 days.
Still Trump keeps them hidden.

MAGA do you ever get the feeling that you might just be the villains in this story?
