Doubtful Seattle is passing out fentanyl.
Man, do you need to understand blue cities more. Blue cities all but hand out illicit drugs in the name of "harm reduction". Just last week the new Communist Mayor of Seattle decided not to clear out a notorious drug encampment known for people lining up to buy from dealers.
It’s a public health measure, but since the right has pretty much rejected the premises of public health, you might reject the notion that free needles actually save lives.
What you don't understand is that the cities hand out boxes of free needles, not just one. The druggies re-use them anyway and now you have sharps dumped all over the city, in the parks, everywhere.
left wingers believe in "public health" as defined by other left wingers. In no universe does enabling someone's addiction work out for actual public health. left wingers might as well just euthanize the addicts directly.
