does anyone have insight into the brief Trump and Netanyahu spat after the Hamas attack ?
its extremely confusing because they are mostly BFFs in the global authoritarian's club.

a. Bebe is a thrice convicted criminal (bribes & frauds even !) who regained his nation's top political position. so i would expect trump to be inspired, but also a bit jealous.

b. Bebe can now use overwhelming force against an outmatched enemy. the ~95% civilian casualty rate serves to sate the revenge-minded in his camp. Bebe's stance is that any dead americans, europeans, israeli hostages, etc... caught in bombings and raids shouldn't have been hanging out with hamas.
likewise, trump loves nothing more than a battle against a doomed opponent.
(sidenote: so does musk, who put on a bomber jacket, boots, and dog tags after he got into the thick of a perilous PR visit to israel. make W proud!)


so i get that deep down trump is likely anti-semitic and has to hold things back for ivanka, but the spat seemed out of character.
