This is an update on the relative ranking of several global asset classes as of 9/30.
Asset Class Signal	Top6	Symbol	Rank
US LC IN X VONE 6
US LC Growth IN X VUG 6
US LC Momentum IN X MTUM 6
US Smallcap IN IJR 12
US SC Growth IN IJT 11
For. Developed IN EFA 12
For. Dev. SC IN X SCZ 5
Emerging IN X IEMG 2
Real Estate IN X VNQ 3
Foreign RE IN X VNQI 1
Blend CEFs X CEFS 4
Total Bond IN BND 16
10Y US Gov IN IEF 15
Other hi yield IN JNK 14
Preferred IN PGX 9
Cash/ST BIL 17
60/40- Benchmark VBINX 15

A few usage notes:
* I use the top 4 EQUITY classes generally as my core positions and tend to reduce or eliminate classes ranked below 5.
* In recent history I have observed momentum changes more rapidly than the mid-aughts momentum studies focused on monthly rebalancing. Recently I've started making 1/2-allocation adjustments if necessary every 2 weeks.
* Due to the dominance of the top mega-cap US equities, there's currently very little difference in holdings or performance between US large cap, US large cap growth, and US large cap momentum. Also because of that dominance, unless a bear market is on I tend to keep a core allocation of about 10% in USLC regardless of rank - because the mathematical differences between #3 and #6 are almost noise.
