I like AJ, think he is a really good manager. Read that no manager in
MLB uses his entire roster as much as Hinch does. He is really good
with young players. The Tigers have 3 so called "elite" minor league
positional players, I think 2 of them are ranked as top 10 overall prospects.
They can hopefully bring 2 of them up to The Show, knowing that Hinch will
find a way to get them on the field, not have them languishing on the bench.
But they don't have to be stars right away. Just have to fill in and replace
some of the Tiger vet hitters that strike out a lot, and hit 205 with no power,lol.
If Ilitch doesn't sign any proven bats, the Tigers will plateau right
where they're at. If they get a couple of competent bats, and 1 or 2 of the prospects actually turns out to be good, then they can compete with a
mid level payroll. Until Skubal has to be re-signed, that'll break the bank.
