Nope. He’s in Hungary, campaigning for Victor Orban.
Somewhat ironically, complaining about Europe allegedly interfering in the country’s elections.
It's so strange. From Tucker to Trump to JD Vance to CPAC.... the red carpet is rolled out for the guy who turned Hungary into a kleptocracy and the poorest country in Europe.
For some reason, this country has become a model for the right.
Probably because Orban, close buds with Putin, bills Hungary as a white, Christian country.
And Putin bills himself as a protector of white, Christian Russia.
And as most evidence proves...... neither Russia nor Hungary are templates for anything that sane folks want a part of.
Russia's getting its ass kicked by a country less than half its size. Both Russia and Hungary are economic basket cases and both countries have demographic trend lines headed for the toilet.
And it appears that a mass of Hungarians are sick of living under the false promises of fascism. Viktor Orban may actually lose his rigged election so badly that nobody would believe he won.
And THAT is why JD Vance has been campaigning for him.
Unfortunately for the message that he wishes to share, JD Vance is representing an aggressor nation that is also getting its ass kicked by a smaller country, and represents a president that the world increasingly hates, a president who is constitutionally incapable of telling the truth, even if he is reading it from a teleprompter.
And everbody knows it.
