From the NYT:
Bill and Hillary Clinton refused on Tuesday to testify in the House’s Jeffrey Epstein investigation, escalating a monthslong battle with its Republican leader, Representative James R. Comer of Kentucky, who quickly said he would take steps to hold them in contempt of Congress.
“Every person has to decide when they have seen or had enough and are ready to fight for this country, its principles and its people, no matter the consequences,” the Clintons wrote in a lengthy letter to Mr. Comer, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, which was obtained by The New York Times. “For us, now is that time.”Seems like if you wanna' get to the bottom of the Epstein scandal, the person to bring before the committee for testimony is Epstein's decade-long best bud: Trumpedo.
Personally, I don't have much concern about the Clintons and their reputations but do like the fact that this brings the Epstein scandal back into the spotlight.
Where are those promised Epstein Files, anyway?

Where are those promised Epstein Files, anyway?
Remember? We were all told "The Epstein Files" were on somebody's desk.
Subpoena that somebody (snicker) and require them to produce the ENTIRE file--or else.
Contempt of Congress, anyone? LOL !!!

It would be hilarious to see the Clinton's tie this up in court for years by claiming Presidential Immunity.
Obviously this has nothing to do with Clinton being President, but then a large portion of the things Trump has claimed Presidential Immunity on have absolutely nothing to do with his being President. What would make it hilarious is seeing Dope and Marco tying themselves up in knots trying to explain why the Clintons should not have Presidential Immunity for this while Trump has Presidential Immunity for things he did before becoming President.
Of course, if the Clinton's engaged in or had any knowledge of others engaging in pedophilia and did nothing, they should face the consequences. I think everyone should. For some reason, the usual suspects think their cult leader is immune, but that is because they really do not believe in rule of law.

expect another comer pyle faceplant on this, halligan-style !
(this sir, is most certainly a picture of clinton with hunter hosting burisma on the epstein plane. where? uh, next to trump.)
comer probably still had pizzagate on the brain in 2020-2024 when neither clinton nor trump were potus, and could have called them both! no worries that 'they had something better to do'.
what's really confusing MAGA is that trump isnt too excited about this particular anti-clinton publicity.

If it was good enough to send Bannon and Navarro to prison then Bill Clinton gets a cell also..
Don't drop the soap, Mr. President!

Yes, but they didn't have "presidential immunity".
Though, I would be interested in a lawyer's take on the arguments presented by counsel (i.e. the letter to the committee). From the quotes I've read, I don't think they are very convincing. "Presidential immunity" would have been a better choice, IMO. But I'm not a lawyer.

The Clintons aren't relying on Presidential immunity because he hasn't been President since Jan 2001 and SHE hasn't been President since....EVER. LOL.
Nope.
They've calculated that IF they are prosecuted, it will likely be a very BLUE, CLINTON FRIENDLY arena. They are calculating they will get a very BLUE, Clinton friendly judge and JURY.
If the judge doesn't find a reason to toss it, the jury of minorities and radical blue leftists lesbians will resoundingly ACQUIT.
They have HUBRIS up the WAZOO.
