What are THEIR INTERESTS in your opinion? I think that, the Trump regime's stupidity not withstanding, they believe their ultimate interest is to establish a global Islamic califate.

Their most immediate and pressing interests are:

1. Bleeding the Great Satan.

Trump has proven himself very accomplished in assisting with that goal.


2. Emerging from this war in a stronger position than when they were first attacked.

(The United States has been assisting Iran in its bid to become the regional hegemon since GWBush dismantled the Ba’athist, Sunni regime of Saddam Hussein.)

3. Isolate Israel.

Both Trump and Netanyahu are creating a backlash in the United States against the perception that we are “doing Israel’s bidding.”

Concomitant with that has been a rise in antisemitism.

Iran needs only fan those flames.

4. Way down on the list- establish a Shia caliphate

I don’t post this list as anything authoritative, but it is how I see the situation.
