But they would suffer tremendously if that workforce is removed, which would motivate them to support some sort of worker visa program (likely with exemptions from federal minimum wage, but it's still progress).

Project 2025 is proposing that as aid programs for the poor and homeless are reduced or eliminated, Americans will become agriculture's labor force.
