Well, per the Sjuggerud indicator from years back method of market health/bullishness/valuation/ investability...

the 30 year average PE of the S&P 500 is 24.8.
+1SD of 11
= 35.8
Current PE of 29.2 < 35.8 = OK/bullish (for that 1/3 of the Sjuggerud)

20 year average return "forecast" = 1.02*(1/29.2) + 0.0307 = 6.56%
(not sure the source of this 20 yr average return forecast as I've lost the link)
