They brought him to town in the spring. Nobody had reason to question whether Martha had given birth to little Clark.

Superman's origin story is that the Kents found him, adopted him, and raised him as their own

That’s only one of the origin stories. No mention of an adoption. Just that they raised him.

Stephen Miller would see through it, especially given Superman’s later career of not showing a preference for white people and treating everyone as an equal.

Even if Superman was a natural born citizen, that would be no protection…. Just look at Rosie.
