I am indeed. I don't expect there to be anything material in it, which is why I referred to it as an "outline of a concept of a deal" - some clear humorous mockery there, with a hat tip to Bananas.
However, I am curious about whether there was anything that Rutte was able to scrounge together that is his to give that is material at all. I mean, he could have promised Trump all the mineral rights in Greenland, if he wanted to - NATO has no ownership or jurisdiction or control over Greenland's mineral rights, so that's nothing, but Trump might have been either unaware or unconcerned about that. But is there something that Rutte actually had within his power that he could give to Trump? I suspect not, but I would be interested to know....
