That's why it's just dumb beyond imagining for an actual terrorist, trying to enter the U.S. to commit some heinous act, to try to do it by showing up at the border with no ID and claiming asylum. As opposed to the way that all the actual international terrorists did, which is to get some falsified travel documents and come in through an airport.

You tell them, "Before you can enter your asylum claim, you need to take a blood test for TB and <insert some random disease> at the border. Anyone who does not take this test shall be deported immediately".
Then you just...take your sweet time providing the tests.
