Nah. Clearly the strategy is to back up the phone to the cloud, wipe the phone at the departing airport, pass through security at the receiving airport, reinstall to the phone once through. If you’re into irony, use the government provided airport WiFi to do it.
You get to jump the hurdle while not jumping the hurdle at all. Doesn’t work for drugs though.
