My guess is that, coming from such a straitjacketed society, that having battlefield initiative would not be something they are trained for. - ges

Weak infantry for sure but there still are missiles to consider. Little Rocket man could do the dirty work keeping Putin's hands clean(er). I checked and the range required is around 5,000 miles which I think is well within Kims tested capability. Would the US risk any sort of direct action on the Norks what with them sharing a border with the Chicoms? I doubt Trump would go for that.
