Aussi,
Yeah if it's true the admiral and/or Hegseth deliberately blew up unarmed survivors with the intent to murder them, and with no legitimate military justification, that's really bad, probably violates the rules of engagement (whatever they are), will get the admiral court martialed and Hegseth prosecutred (unless pardoned by Trump), and seems particularly stupid because this framing makes it sound utterly vindictive and pointless.
However, let's remember the stock in trade of the MSM when attempting to address "issues" is to try to get engagement by "personifying" bad stuff that happens to people and framing it as a "tragedy," while ignoring whatever the "big picture" might be.
The U.S. has upwards of half a dozen Ohio class ballistic missile submarine on patrol at all times with the capability of killing a lot more innocent people than a couple of drug dealers or fishermen hanging off the side of a blasted boat.
If nothing else good comes of all this, I do hope Putin is watching very, very careful and fully understands we have a President who is ready, willing and able to pull the trigger and kill people if he sees the need to do that, in America's interests.
