This is what happens when the accused, lawyers up, and gets questionable advice. “” What is involved in financial decision making?
The financial decision-making process involves identifying financial goals, gathering relevant information, analyzing data, developing alternative solutions, selecting the best strategy, implementing the chosen strategy, and monitoring and evaluating the decision.May 23, 2023.”” After discovery and fact finding, I guess we will find out if team Hunter was acting alone. Note the hurdle keeps moving ,by Hunter , relative to what Joe has been telling us for years. Hunter could be getting advice from a sharp used car salesmen.

Hey HC,
The NYT quickly corrected the mistake, which is what journalists do.
Credible news sources are accountable for mistakes and correct them.
Do you ever see Fox or the other rightwing propaganda sites you frequent do that?
Didn't think so.

From The NYT: A correction was made on Dec. 13, 2023: An earlier version of this article misquoted Hunter Biden.
He said, “My father was not financially involved in my business,” not, “My father was not involved in my business.”

Have a great day!

hi genius, what did you expect the rag, I mean Times to do, insist they didn't do it? I'm a news nation fan, if Cuomo or Abrams get it wrong, they correct it. Happy holidays to you and the family bud. I look forward to another year of trying to keep you informed.

Just hilarious.
These are the same folks who insist that everyone else are the crazy ones.

I'm not crazy!! (institutionalized)
You're the one who's crazy!! (institutionalized)
You're driving me crazy!! (institutionalized)
They stick me in an institution
Said it was the only solution
To give me needed professional help
To protect me from the enemy, myself

-"Institutionalized", by Suicidal Tendencies.

I don't consider it a biggie. The right just likes to slam NYT. It was corrected and I don't consider it a big deal. I consider the fact that the committee wants closed door sessions bigger.

Yep. Reputable news outlets own their mistakes (and they do make them!), and publish corrections. They don't double-down on the crazy, like Faux Noise, OANN, and others. Of course, often their (OANN, etc) pieces are lies from the start, with at most a nugget of fact before they start twisting. They would have to retract almost everything they ever said.

Poorguy, at least you are sharp enough to compare the journalist integrity of the nytimes to oann, whatever that is? Well done.

The incorrect quote in the NYT was posted 9:46 a.m. ET, and corrected 12:11 p.m. ET. The incorrect post was online for only 2.5 hours. Anyone deeply interested could have easily viewed the ABC video posted before noon: https://youtu.be/QQQoTKW4IkQ?si=YGNhqTcJSe0aofLF&t...

The OP article is another case of fake anger. Faux News is the Boy who cried Wolf, or Chicken Little, with a business model that depends on making its viewers angry. A fine example of yellow journalism.

NYT made a mistake and quickly corrected it. People who know how to safely consume media were not confused. (If you read something confusing, find another source. Preferably the most direct source.) The NYT business model is based on informing its viewers.

Your choice when choosing media: do you want to be angry or informed.

Anger is a business
Many news outlets' business models now depend on stoking anger.
"Outrage discourse involves efforts to provoke emotional responses, (especially anger, fear, and moral indignation) from the audience through the use of overgeneralizations, sensationalism, patently inaccurate information, and belittling ridicule of opponents. Outrage sidesteps the messy nuances of complex political issues in favor of melodrama, misrepresentative exaggeration, and hyperbolic forecasts of impending doom. "

The U.S. House of Representatives is trying to impede the U.S. President by issuing subpoenas to his friends and family. The U.S. Supreme Court in Trump V. Mazars ruled that: "burdens imposed by a congressional subpoena should be carefully scrutinized, for they stem from a rival political branch that has an ongoing relationship with the President and incentives to use subpoenas for institutional advantage."

An Analysis Of The Biden Impeachment Inquiry, December 13, 2023
"The House should not proceed with an impeachment inquiry unless it has received weighty, credible evidence of presidential conduct that would constitute “high Crimes and Misdemeanors” if proven true. None of those criteria are met here. There is no basis for a Biden impeachment inquiry."
