You thought a sophisticated, complex math formula that included a detailed analysis of currency manipulations and trade barriers was painstakingly formulated, right?

Nope.

The Trump geniuses simply took our trade deficit with each country and divided it by the country's exports to us.

That's it.

For example, our trade deficit with Indonesia is $17.9 billion. Indonesia exports $28 billion of goods to us. $17.9/$28 = 64%, King Donald's magic tariff rate that he believes Indonesia charges us.

The currency manipulation and trade barrier nonsense it just that: nonsense.

We are so doomed.

Thank God so few Americans have their retirement savings in the stock market.

Oh wait.
