Russia, China, and this board hardest hit.
What are you talking about? It's insanely unlikely that there's anything in the "agreement" that we wouldn't have been given on the first ask. Particularly since this concept of an agreement isn't with Denmark or the EU, but with NATO - who has no real authority to grant any rights in Greenland that are outside the remit of the security alliance, which would have given us anything we asked for.
Russia and China have to be pleased as punch with how this went down. Russia had a major international conference with all the world's important heads of state not have Ukraine be the main topic. Both of them got to see Trump put the NATO alliance under massive stress, for no reason. On the economic front, both benefit by further weakening of EU-US economic relations and an interruption in the EU-US trade deal. And China in particular has to be delighted about how all of this is pushing countries to seek further integration with the Chinese economy, as doing business with the U.S. is shown time and again to now be unpredictable and contingent on whatever other policy goals the President is pursuing.
A complete self-own, causing damage to our the alliances we need to contain China and Russia while not accomplishing anything that couldn't have been obtained with a phone call a year ago.
