Albaby keeps insisting that the Felon won't be able to get lower folks to do his bidding because they aren't protected by immunity. But if the Felon just fires all of them, then what's to stop him from doing what he wants? In principle, he could fire the entire bureaucracy in one mass stroke, and then put sycophants in charge of various departments.

That's how a lot of dictators do it. Fire (or worse) anyone who might oppose them, and then install obedient servants. What's to stop the Felon doing that? (Serious question...not being hyperbolic...in theory there are some posts he can't fire, but only in theory.**)

**Just as a wild example...SCOTUS. The Felon could "fire" them by reducing the size of the Court. The size isn't set in the Constitution (unfortunate oversight by the Founders). So, maybe fire everyone except Barrett, Kavanaugh, and Thomas. A Court of three, and still an odd number (so no "ties").
