Republicans keep hoping for the economy to go into recession or stagflation but the economy just keeps chugging along toward a soft landing, disappointing them. This number will actually ease fears about reacceleration/overheating.

So market happy, Fed happy, rate cut now possibly coming sooner than planned and republicans bummed.


• 15.4 million jobs added since president Biden took office.

• Unemployment stays below 4% for 27 straight months -- over TWO YEARS.

• Prime-working-age labor force participation rate at 20-year high.

• Wage growth is above inflation.

Yeah, terrible news.
