All of Club 401K Liberals. Moreso the upscale greedy racist White Liberals as in the TMF kind - versus the ones who are actual Democrats.k
You may have explained this at one point, but I don't recall seeing it. What exactly is "401K Liberals"? Other than liberals that participate in a 401K (that's sort of a tautology). Lots of conservatives do that, also, so that isn't really a distinct category separate from others (as near as I can tell).
"Upscale white liberals" I can wrap my head around. What about "upscale white conservatives"? Lots of both of those people. In fact, at my former company, there were a lot more "upscale white conservatives" than liberals (and these were mostly college educated white folks, with a disproportionate number -to the overall population of the country- of sub-continent folks thrown in). As near as I can tell, conservatives as a group are more "greedy" than liberals, so I'm trying to parse the specific group you're talking about.
I had a 401K (had to roll it to an IRA when I retired), I'm white, I'm at the tail-end of the "boomers" (I think 1poorlady would not be considered a boomer, and I'm only a year and a half older than she is), I don't think I'm greedy, and I'm most certainly not overtly racist**.
I totally get your rants about addressing pronouns when the voting public is concerned about employment, being able to afford a house, security, etc. But I'm not -yet- connecting with the "club 401K" rants.
**I once heard that everyone is racist to some degree. Which, to me, makes the term almost useless. I do not think anyone is better or worse just because of their heritage/skin-color, and I'm aware that as a white guy born in the early 60s I had a lot of privilege that I wasn't really aware of for most of my life.
