So...1poorkid's friends are going on a trip to Asia very soon. According to her, about 10% of flights are expected to be cancelled (tomorrow!), and more will be delayed. This has created great uncertainty for the travelling friends. Will they make their connections? Will the connections even fly? Hopefully they have travel insurance, because some or all of their arrangements could be cancelled at a whim.
Needless to say, the friends are NOT happy with the Felon or the Reps in Congress (i.e. they correctly identified the source of the problem in that Reps control all three branches of government, and therefore all government functions such as air traffic control).
Travel insurers may be getting a boon. She tells me her friends are looking to pick up a policy ASAP, just in case.
