Haven’t seen the article either but it sounds like management are already doing what Saba would want (selling some assets at market price and buying in stock at a discount to NAV).

Saba certainly have a track record and U.K. focus on helping to close price value discounts. We shall see what happens.

Seems to be very little interest in active value investing in the U.K. these days. Maybe the resulting values and discounts will prove worthwhile if and when the U.S. AI bubble and index flows bubble goes into reverse. Something like Unite backed up by hard property assets and a 7% dividend yield perhaps holds up better in a stock market crash.
