Hegseth ended on a high note, quite inspirational....A good speech. The bit about "toxic" leadership and "walking on egg-shells" particularly resonated, as I had plenty of bosses who let the whiners goof off, while they went looking for someone else to dump the work on.
A lot I could get behind, in principle. Without any DEI standards, will reality be white, male, only, because advancing anyone else will bring charges of "DEI", which makes Hegseth the sort of toxic leader he was complaining about.
And, did he *really* need to say that the prayer service he goes to is a "Christian" service?
Lastly, and OT, blue suit and brown shoes? Seriously? Brown shoes!!
