Ouch.

One of the names from back when i cared --- and loved politics so much. This is before the celebrities, the tattoo people, the podcasters, the internet bullshit. The tweets. The likes. This was when america - while always raucous was a country. And politics - while dirty - was really not on the radar screen of the trailer park but mind you, the trailer park and ghetto hadn't gone mainstream America either.

Either way - he was an asset to Presidents he served and where he wasn't, he actually admits it.

His book "Eyewitness to Power" is a great read.

And another one from back in the day - is gone.
