As one wag on TV said tonight (sorry, don’t remember who), Smith was a sober man in a drunken bar. Pretty much sums it up.

The Republicans either lied or brought up meaningless distractions and the Democrats fact checked the weasels.

One Republican weasel blamed the guards for January 6th. That went over well.

Another Republican weasel (sorry for the redundancy) blamed Pelosi (IIRC) for not calling out the DC National Guard. The DC National Guard reports directly to the president who, at the time, was Trump. I guess he was too busy watching TV.

Trump sycophants shows why this country is so screwed.
