Any chance you could tell us what the product you purchased is, how much it cost, and how much the tariff on it was?

I mean I really can't think of any class of product that can be sourced in Canada, but not in the United States.

Maybe some type of clothing that's only made in Canada?

Genuine Canadian Maple Syrup?

It sounds like a one-off so can't be anything really critical, can it?

Also, if tariffs are a form of tax, isn't that a good thing? Won't that reduce the deficit? Aren't progressives in favor of higher taxes?
