Why does the Stock Market and the Economy do so well under Democrats and so poorly under Republicans?

We have an attempted explanation from none other than Donald Trump himself:

Today he said "This is Biden's stock market, not mine. I didn't take over until January 20th...This will take a while, has NOTHING TO DO WITH TARIFFS, only that he left us with bad numbers..."

You know, the same guy who when the stock market was rolling under Biden, on 1/29/24 said "THIS IS THE TRUMP STOCK MARKET BECAUSE MY POLLS AGAINST BIDEN ARE SO GOOD THAT INVESTORS ARE PROJECTING THAT I WILL WIN, AND THAT WILL DRIVE THE MARKET UP"

Can anyone spot the flaw in logic and/or sleaze factor here? Why would anybody trust this man?
