These days, when someone asks me my religion, my response is SBNR.
No need to look it up; Spiritual But Not Religious.
I find the vast majority of “religious” people to be hypocrites. You know, the folks who epitomize "The devil can cite Scripture for his purpose.”
Even though I am not religious, so far, I like this guy James Talarico. He seems like someone who tries to live his life according to his religious principles, not just when it’s convenient for him.
I don’t agree with him on everything, but I respect him.
Like I said, so far. I don’t know a whole lot about him, but he bears watching.
By the way, Ms. Wolf hates him. She thinks all religious people are FOS.
