And no, as an American I have absolutely no bigger concern than not getting murdered by the horde of illegal immigrants rampaging and murdering across the country, and not paying more taxes.

It sounds like the amount of fear that one feels has a lot to do with your source of "news". As has been pointed out many times, violent crime has actually been decreasing, not increasing.

I live in southern California, which is something of a hot spot for illegal immigration. I have lived in this area all my life (I'm 63). I feel no less "safe" than I ever have. I rarely lock my home (only if I'm going to be gone all day or more), don't lock my car, don't have a gun, and yet...nothing happens. Sure, it's possible, and my car has been ransacked (they took my Starbucks card and some CD's and left a cigarette smell), but basically nothing has happened. I feel "safe", and I get a little affirmation of that every day when I return home to my unlocked condo and find that nothing happened, or go to my car and find that nothing happened. It helps me feel that the vast majority of humans are decent people, and that's a lot better for me than living in fear.

Now if loose cannon egomaniac Trump gets elected and gets his hands back on that Button and our foreign relations, I will feel fear (again, like I did during his first term, but it will be worse this time because he has less to lose and likely less sane people around him).

Sell me on Biden as he will be in the next four years.

The best selling point on Biden in his apparent current state is that he is still better than Trump, and will surround himself with better people than Trump does. Our President is not a dictator and does not determine absolutely everything that happens (I'm not sure how many on the right understand that--sometimes it seems as if many don't). But Trump appears bent on doing whatever he can to create a dictatorship. He may succeed, he may not, but he's trying.
