The issue was NEVER “people who didn’t vote for them. NEVER!
It was about an armed insurrection inspired by Trump at the Capitol in which over a hundred police were injured in which people died. The mob attempted a misguided effort to stop the transfer of presidential power to the guy who actually won the election (which Trump continues to deny to this day)
Since then, Republicans continue to blame everybody BUT Trump for what occurred that day… it was Antifa, then it was FBI provacateurs, then it wasn’t a mob at all but a bunch of sight seeing tourists.
It’s the lies, the corruption and the violence of the right- now on full display in places like Los Angeles, Portland and Chicago.
If anything, we have been too timid, too afraid of Trump unleashing MORE violence on his path to fascist dictatorship… which comes into clearer focus every day.
