Good post, valid points.
Yes, I call out my own side, or even a candidate I'm voting for. Whether their sons aren't qualified for transition teams, whether their sons lobbied for foreign corporations and interests, or whether the candidate was a joke in 2020 and had great advantages- and was polling #5 in her California and squandered her lead and fundraising advantages and dropped out in 5 weeks and now, did squat to get the nomination.
As someone from the Right , who openly in polarized times, voted for BIDEN in 2020 and wanted to vote for Biden in 2024, I am hardly beholden to Trump.
This time, my support for Trump is merely disdain for Harris, no different than people who used to cry "Anybody But Bush".
I've seen tons of things I didn't like hence voted Biden and to this day am slightly emotional in my stomach about him being forced to relinquish what was rightfully his. Heck was just watching his debate with Ryan and man it was great not just when Biden was giving the boy a country whipping, but the sincerity and graciousness when Biden shook his hand afterwards.
The worst part for me - I think I can just blackout, just float, just be a passive victim if she's President. The worst part is that it prevents Beshear from running in 2028 as I've voiced high hopes for him for 2 years now.
He was one of the few grown ups I had faith in to properly govern as big things confront the country soon.
If Harris wins it *better* be with Democratic control of Congress and the Senate. I want something out of this.
