I am reminded of some of the original US, Canada, and Mexico tariff agreements. BIG win announced by the US. Canada and Mexico are like, "Ya, sure". Upon close examination, the agreements are pretty much status quo.
It was clear Trumps original goal was to rape the Greenland resources. While this deal prevents that, it also prevents China from having direct access to those resources, which is indeed a win for the US.
