So now, Ford Motor CEO Farley is crying they were "forced" to build EVs, and, thanks to God and Savior Trump, Ford can now built "affordable" cars.
Ignore the past, where Farley has poured Billions into greenfield EV plants, while GM took a more measured approach, and the Japanese have been even more circumspect about EVs in the US.
Ignore the past, where Farley has had zero interest in "affordable" cars. For years, he has been bragging about how he will inflate ATP and GP.
But "affordable" is now buzzy, and he's eager to kiss Trump's a$$. Whoever comes after Farley, will be looking at tens of Billions of stranded assets to write off, thanks to Farley.
