Ouch! What a scathing and irrefutable rebuttal to conservative attempts to defend Trump by pointing out that Trump has not yet been convicted.

Yet, when Biden is accused of being integral to the family business, you don't appear to be "mind-boggled at such an extraordinary denial of reality and constitutional instruction, leaving you really scared, because the numbers of those who so blindly swear fealty to this flagrantly dangerous narcissist have created the all too real threat that he will have a second stint in the White House, unfettered."

There's no parallel here. Much of the existing evidence on which Trump's MANY AND VARIED INDICTMENTS are based is common knowledge, including the Jan. 6 violent attempt to prevent the legal and orderly transfer of power following a clean election. An attempt he refused for hours to request be stopped, and which he had described as the protesters showing their love for him. Those accusing Biden have not displayed any clear evidence, only a small number of circumstances and comments from which they draw very iffy inferences. Yes, Biden appears to be guilty of not creating sufficient distance from a son with problems. And Biden is a competent president with a strong record of accomplishments (that other posters have listed here multiple times). He most typically is looking out for the country, rather than for his narcissistic ego. I would prefer another Democrat in the White House for the next term, but not because of dishonesty or incompetence. If health issues intervene, I do not want Kamala Harris to replace him. And if Will Hurd had been able to remain in the Republican race, and had actually (dream on) become the nominee, from what I currently know about him, I would have considered voting for him.

As an aside....I'm not a "lefty." I don't identify as a leftist, never did. I think of myself as left of center overall, and depending on the issue, my views span the range from center to left.
