Dope, that is incredibly ill-informed. All culling does is speed up the inevitable. It is FAST, spreads like WILDFIRE. You wake up in the morning to find 3,000 chickens dead in your 50,000 chicken barn. There isn't any way to separate the sick from the not sick and any survivors could be chronic (long) carriers. Wild fowl can be chronic carriers too. There are vaxxes, but Juneberry says it's cheaper to replace the dead bird. So we need a cheap solution. But here's an article she wrote. She calls herself a "a lazy science-based prepper who wants to do the minimum amount of work with the maximum amount of yield."
