Right - why would we want the National Weather Service/NOAA to be the best in the world at predicting the weather?

Great deflection. We all want a NOAA that accurately predicts the weather.

But Elon’s crypt-named group of strong-armed thugs is not the tool to accomplish that goal.

From my perspective, here’s what they might accomplish:

The next time Trump stands in front of a weathermap with a Sharpie, the weathermap will automatically redraw itself to include Mobile Alabama in the hurricane’s path, saving Dear Leader from having to explain why his Sharpie drawn hurricane path was not in the

Ridiculous, yes, but it makes a point. Trump has shown himself, over and over, to be someone who attempts to bend reality to fit his propaganda. If reality conflicts with his propaganda he UNERRINGLY lies about reality (latest example- see your post and my response last night regarding Panama)

Comparisons with any Democratic politician are not even close. Not that Democrats aren’t capable of lying about reality. I’t just that right now, reality is generally not at odds with their message.
